- Wombwell 5 (18/2)
- Retford Half Marathon (10/3)
- Sheffield Half Marathon (7/4)
- Dronfield 10k (28/4)
- Eyam Half Marathon (19/5)
- Penistone 10k (23/6)
- Loxley Lash (just the July race, not the whole series)
- Big Dipper Half Marathon (15/9)
- Sheffield 10k (29/9)
- Worksop Half Marathon (27/10)
- Doncaster 10k (24/11)
- + any road marathon that appears on Power of 10 before the final race
For each race, runners scored points based on how their time compared to the time of the first-placed runner of the same sex: 100 points x (winning time / your time). So for example, if the winner took 60 minutes and you took 75, you’d have scored 100 x (60 / 75) = 80 points. A slower runner who took 80 minutes would have scored 100 x (60 / 80) = 75 points.
Additionally, any road marathon that appeared on Power of 10 before the final race could also count as one of an athlete’s 5 races. For marathons, the reference time for points calculations was the fastest time run by a Strider during the championship. For men, this was Naeem Stevens’ 2:35:54; for women, it was Caroline Brock’s 3:02:35.
A runner’s total score for the championship was their best five race scores added together. Runners needed to complete at least 5 races to be eligible for prizes.

We also had a whole club, age-graded competition. For this, we used the World Masters Athletics methodology to award scores by comparing runners’ times with the world record for their age and sex. This allows all runners, younger and older, male and female, to compete on a fair basis. Our Age-Graded Champion for 2024 was M60 Jed Turner.
