Race Date: 16th July 2014
A hot and sticky evening was not ideal running conditions for a short 5k blast around Doncaster town centre, but the Doncaster Athletics Club hosted event was well supported both on and off the streets.
Due to the narrow nature of the closed roads, the evening was split into two races; a Vets race and an open race for everyone else.
The Veterans race went off first with 194 taking part. The race was won by Gareth Lowe of Clowne Road Runners in 15:42 and Fiona Davies of Kingstone Runners in 18:04.

The evening was then rounded off with 190 runners in the Open race in which Will Beauchamp of Sheffield Running Club was first past the post in 15:23 for the men and Robyn Lanceley of Rotherham Harriers in 17:56 for the ladies.
