The 2024 Percy Pud 10k is now sold out.
If you missed out and are still hoping to run, there will be entrants who can no longer run and will want to transfer their place.
Entries can only be transferred between 7 and 28 Nov 2024. There will be a dedicated post on the Steel City Striders Public Facebook page between those dates where places can be offered and requested.
Welcome to Steel City Striders Running Club – since 1982 we have been the friendliest running club in Sheffield and organisers of the hugely popular Percy Pud 10k race every December for over 30 years.
We welcome new members, aged 18+ throughout the year. Whether you’re a new runner and training for your first race or an experienced runner you are welcome to join us at any time. If you’re not yet sure, you can try any of our training sessions for free for a week or two under no obligation.
Each and every week we run evening sessions from Hillsborough and a Speed Session, Heeley, Graves, Millhouses and a Daytime Session, Woodburn Road Track Session, plus a Fell Night Run on Tuesday. With all training sessions lead by fully qualified and experienced England Athletics Run Leaders and Coaches.
There will be no pressure or hard sell to join as we want you to be sure we are the right club for you.
Some club members like to race and are very competitive, but many come for the social aspect and enjoy running with company at their own pace. Whatever type of person you are, you are more than welcome, and we will support you.
If you have any questions, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions.
