Five miles of tarmac fun in Barnsley. Starting at the Wombwell Kart Track, up the hill into neighbouring Darfield, loop around and back down to the track to finish.
Sixteen Striders were among 414 runners who lined up for the Wombwell 5 Miler. The men’s race was won by David Byrne of Hallamshire Harriers in a time of 0:26:21. Naomi Drakeford of Barnsley AC won the women’s race in a time of 0:28:52.
