Conditions were near perfect for Trunce 8: cool-ish, dry, and windless – meaning lots of PBs were achieved. This was also the last scoring round in the championship – leaving round 9 as purely a fun run (and fancy dress, if you are that way inclined).
Congratulations to Darrel Porter on securing 2nd place in the (very competitive) Vet Male category, and to me on sneaking into 3rd place in the Vet 50 category.
The race was won by Joseph Harding (HRRC) in a time of 25:01. First female was Hanna Sahota (unattached) in 36:24.
