The occasion of Yasmine Chaffer’s thirtieth birthday saw the inaugural running of this uphill only race from The Nag’s Head on Loxley Road up West Lane to Holdworth 1100m away. It is reported that two of the lower order finishers were seen walking for part of the 113m ascent.
Rob Byers puffing out his sergeant major chest with obvious pride displaying his pink first place rosette which matches his favourite t-shirt.
Steel City claimed all seven places with four earning themselves pretty rosettes.
