Race Date: Sunday 12th October 2024

The Sheffield City 10k takes place at Rother Valley Country Park. It’s described as exhilarating, set against the breathtaking backdrop of rolling hills, tranquil lakes and lush woodlands. Aimed at runners of all levels from the seasoned athlete trying for a new personal best or a first-timer racer looking for a more user-friendly route (and by that I mean flat!). It’s a lapped course with runners doing two laps of the 5k trail around the lakes.

351 runners took part on the day. The race was won by Rob Watkinson of Rotherham Harriers in 35:28. The first female finisher was Martha Hanby, unaffiliated, in 39:33.
