192 runners for this year’s edition of Ricky’s Race. The weather certainly didn’t seem like the 8th August as we huddled in the car before the start, waiting out the rain showers. It all made of a slippery surface on some of the descents and a humid run throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable it was too, as was the pint in the cricket club afterwards
The male race was won by Joe Oldfield (unattached) in 30.12. The female winner was Nichola Jackson of Keswick AC in 31.50
