Race distance: 7 mile
The Peak Rail 7 is organised by Matlock AC, and is an out-and-back trail race, in pursuit of a steam train (which this year was in search of its own PB according to reports). Proceeds from the race go to charities chosen by the volunteer marshals, which is a nice touch.
The race was won by Tom Jackson (Belper Harriers) in 41:55.3, and by Hannah Walker (Dronfield RC) in 44:37.2. 209 finished.
