Three Striders braved the wonderful sideways start and extremely lumpy most-of-race that is the second in the Hayfield “three days in May” series. They were led home by Sarah Thorne with a fantastic performance to finish as second female.

79 runners finished, led by Josh Williams (Dark Peak) in 48:44 and Katie Walshaw (Holmfirth Harriers) in 54:03.
