First friday of September always indicates the end of mid week fell running for another year with the Great Longstone Chase.
Another great turnout from Striders and loads of bling to be had too. Caroline Brock was 1st woman (34.48) with Sarah Thorne and Sian Evans in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Jo Gleig also won her second age category race in two days picking up first place FV60. On the male side, with Will Tighe of Buxton winning in a blistering 27.34, Strider Rob Byers picked up 3rd place so well done to him, the winning women and the rest of us too
