Race Date: Saturday 20th April 2024

Scurry2Bridges Forth Ultra And Team Relay event comprises of three races: Individual, 2 Person Relay and 4 Person Relay. This result is for the Forth Ultra 2 Person Team relay race featuring Team Jamieson: Strider Fiona Tweedie and teammate (and brother) Kenny Jamieson (looks like Kenny got the team naming rights and Fiona got the club listing 🙂).

The Ultra route is a 43 mile circuit around the Forth Of Firth estuary with 1716 ft of ascent. Terrain is mixed, mostly road (including two bridges), some trail, and way-marked, so no navigation is required. The race is split into four stages, the first three ending with checkpoint snack stations. Stage distances range between the 8.11 miles of Stage 4 from Boness to the finish at Helix Park (Falkirk), to the 14.83 miles of Stage 2 from Culross to the Forth Road Bridge.

Team Jamieson were one of 22 two person teams running the Forth Ultra 2 Person Team Relay. The race was won by the White Tailed Eagles (a Kinross Road Runners mixed team of Caroline Jones and Alex Reily) in a time of 05:14:31.
