Race Date: Sunday 4th February 2024
Taking place at the Al Maryah Island South Plaza in Abu Dhabi, The Cancer Run is held to raise awareness of cancer, encourage support for those fighting the disease, and to promote healthy lifestyle choices. This is the result of the 5km race; 1km, 3km and 10km races also took place.
Early start for Steven and the gang at the Cancer Run
Steve Lewis was the lone Strider among 497 runners who finished the 5k. The men’s race was won by Ismail El Kharchi of Morocco in a time of 14:30. Betelhem Berbush of Ethiopia won the women’s race in a time of 16:52. No club information available.
