Race Date: Sunday 22nd January 2023

The Sherwood New Year 10k race sees runners take to Sherwood Forest for a scenic challenge across undulating trails.

There were a total of 337 runners who headed to the start line on a frosty January morning, to tackle the 10k. The race was won by Ben Walkingshaw, unaffiliated, in a time of 38:09. The women’s race was won by Sylvia Dmuchowska, also unaffiliated, in a time of 45:38.

Solo Strider Rob Dawson took part making it home in 41:48. 7th place overall and a category win too… Fantastic! A great way to start 2023!
