Race Date: Wednesday 19th July 2023
The Rockingham 5k was race #6 in the 12 race KMR Series, which comprises of races put on by either Kimberworth Striders, Maltby Running Club or Rotherham Harriers. Each is a race it’s own right, but for those interested in the series, race #7 is tomorrow (August 3rd, The Butchers Dog Leg Race) followed by the Toffee Run on August 17th.
Paddy, Simon and Ady, ready for action
Three Striders were among 120 runners who lined up for the Rockingham 5k. The men’s race was won by Luke Davis of Maltby RC in a time of 17:49. Catherine Eddison of Rotherham HAC won the women’s race in a time of 20:14.
