Race Date: Sunday 21st May 2023
120 runners for the inaugural Pommie Panter fell race held in Youlgreave. It is a 5.8 mile race with 876 feet of climb.
We’re a ‘proper’ traditional Peak District roller of a race. The terrain is rough trails, open fields and an opening section of country lane. There’ll be small sections of low level technical parts and a swamp. The route navigation isn’t complicated and its all on public footpaths
The male race was won by Luke Beresford of Matlock AC in 39.18. The female race was won by our very own Abbie Pearse in 43.21. As this is a first running of the race, Abbie is now the course record holder too.
