Race date: 5 March
Race distance: half marathon
North Lincs is a fast, flat course organised by the very friendly Tape 2 Tape, who do a few races round the Humber Estuary. It’s previously been held in summer, and high temperature has been a factor, but its move to March should make it an ideal opportunity to set an early season benchmark, as several Striders expertly proved.
The race was won by Daniel Haworth of Matlock AC in 1:06:56 and by Sarah Kemshall of St Theresa’s AC in 1:16:59, closely followed by Strider Abbie Pearse in 1:18:48. 1403 finished.
