Robert Hoffmann, The Hoff, travelled to Germany to run the Griesheim half whilst everyone else was engrossed in the London marathon. There were 130 competitors, with Robert finishing a very creditable 31st place. The men’s race was won by Marius Lau of Eintract Frankfurt in 1.10.52. The women’s race was won by Lena Becker of TGV Schotten/ iQ athletik Team in 1.30.01.
