As the summer approaches over in the UAE, many look out for ways to keep cool and beat the heat. That includes running 5k, around an indoor ski village, in a shopping mall in Dubai. And at 06:30 no less.
119 runners took part in the 4th edition of the 5k (there is also an option to run 3k). The men’s race was won by Mohammed Al Hasani, of the UAE in 20:38 and the women’s race was won by Ann Wanjohi of Kenya in 28:41.
Solo Strider, Steven Lewis ventured over to Dubai from Abu Dhabi to play in the snow and here is his result:
