The Derbion Ramathon (Derby Half Marathon) and Ram 5 Mile were run on the same day. Striders Caroline Brock and Yasmine Chaffer took first and second in the women’s 5 miler, great result!
Caroline and Will powering to top ten finishes in the 5 miler
Ten Striders were among 1598 runners who lined up for the Ramathon Half. The men’s race was won by Daniel Haymes (unaffiliated) in a time of 01:07:56. Abbey Van Dijk of Derby Athletic Club won the women’s race in a time of 01:21:38.
216 runners lined up for the Ram 5 Mile race. The men’s race was won by James Meader in a time of 00:26:10. Strider Caroline Brock won the women’s race in a time of 00:30:48.
