It’s Grim Up North organised the Coronation Canter running festival last week in Leeds:
The chip-timed event starts and finishes in Kirkstall, about 2.5 miles outside the centre of Leeds. Whilst this flat route is not particularly technical, it’s a great opportunity for a PB, well-stocked feed stations can be found every three miles.
27 runners ran the half marathon, including Strider Giulia Neri. Well done Giulia. The male race of 6 runners was won by Matthew Evans in 1.29.20. The female race of 21 runners was won by Emma Peace in 1.39.38.
