Race Date: Sunday 19th November 2023
Organised by the Clowne Road Runners Club, the Clowne Half Marathon is described as an undulating course running from Clowne centre through the surrounding villages before returning to Clowne. It’s a popular race (maybe due to them dishing out hoodies at the finish line) and so early entry is advisable if you’re thinking of giving it a go.
The race was well attended this year with 740 runners. The race was won by Thomas Shaw of Worksop Harriers in 01:14:59. The first lady to make it home was Nicola Squires of the Hallamshire Harriers in 01:25:06.
