This is a very popular half marathon run by Knavesmire Harriers in York. It starts and finishes at York Racecourse on a flat out and back course. It’s well managed with good marshalling, accurate distancing and ample parking. It’s probably the earliest race each year and is an opportunity to get the year ioff to a flying start. The only issues is 1700 places and it fills up almost as soon as registration opens. It’s highly recommended if you can get in!
The race was won by Joe Sagar of Spenborough and District AC in 01:06:21 and the first women over the finish line was Georgia Malir of Leeds City AC in 01:15:10.
