Race Date: Sunday 20th March, 2022
This Wakefield 10K road race is an out and back route on closed roads starting and finishing at Thornes Park Athletics stadium. The race raises funds for Wakefield Hospice which organises the event.
The race was won by Mark Bostock (Wakefield District H & AC) in 31:16 and first woman was Sarah Potter (Victoria Park City of Glasgow AC) in 35:16. There were 1122 finishers, of which 3 were Striders. Well done to all three and, in particular, to Fiona Jeffries who was 2nd in her age group.
