Andy Green did a superb job organising this year’s Sheffield Way relays followed by the presentation evening at Nether Edge bowling green the same evening.

It was a shame that Striders were not able to put out a team that could compete at the highest level this year as in the past we have done the double and won both the men’s and women’s trophy. That being said, the teams we put out worked really hard to achieve very creditable results so huge well done to all the Striders who took part.

I always find handicapped results difficult to follow but here goes. Without the handicap put in place the winning open team was Totley Foxes in a blistering time of 5.34.18. The women’s winners were Totley Spinach in 6.29.41 and the mixed teams winners were our very own Steel City Striders Swallows in 6.57.30.
