With the world beginning to return to something like normal, and with the race calendar starting to resemble its pre-pandemic self, we’re delighted to bring you the first update for the Long Distance Strider competition for 2022.

It’s early days, but already there’s some impressive mileage being raced.

The first three places in the women’s competition at the moment:

1st: Jennie Stevens (59.3 miles)
2nd: Alyson Evans (35.4)
3rd: Sarah Percival (33.3)

And in the men’s competition:

1st: Malcolm Baggaley (33.1 miles)
2nd: Daniel Bent (29)
3rd: Des Ryan (26.8)
