Route description from Limelight Sports Club, organisers of the Hackney Half: “Cruise down Mare Street through a carnival of sound, pass by the famous Town Hall, head through the historic Broadway Market, and then take in Hackney Wick, which is flush with vibrant street art. Explore green spaces including Haggerston and Downs Parks, cross over twelve canals and rivers, and enjoy a panoramic view of the Olympic Park.”

Next year’s race will be run on May 21st, with early bird ticket sales closing at the end of this month (June 2022).

13,109 runners finished the 2022 Hackney Half. Winner of the men’s race was Sam Bramwell in 01:09:17. The women’s race was won by Rebecca Bunting in 01:19:13, with lone Strider Abbie Pearse finishing in an impressive 9th place. No club information was listed.
