A weekday evening fixture, the Eyam Fell Race is a 10.4k race out of the village of Eyam in the Peak District. The route features 1509ft (460m) of climbing rewarded by great views, followed by heather and wooded sections before returning to the village.
256 runners took part in the Eyam Fell Race. Steve Franklin of Totley AC won the men’s race in a time of 0:40:15. The women’s race was won by Phillipa Williams of Dark Peak Fell Runners in 0:43:06. Ten Striders took part, with Abbie Pearse and Gillian Allen in 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the women’s race, and Chris Reece finishing 2nd MV70.
