Current club Chair Stuart Jones has formally resigned as Chair due to relocating out of the area, believing that he could not properly serve the membership from a distance. Steel City Striders Running Club now has to elect a new Chair, initially until January 2025.

The ideal candidate will be in regular contact with members, but also have an interest in the administration that goes into the smooth running of the Club and chair regular Committee meetings. The Chair is supported by a Committee who are passionate about the Club and its members and  have extensive experience with administration, membership, training/coaching and communication.
