Race Date: Monday 2nd May 2022
The Dronfield Town FC 10k consists of two loops, one short and one long, starting and finishing at the club’s ground, the HE Barnes Stadium. The longer loop heads out to the south east of the town, passing through the villages of Apperknowle and Unstone. Weather was good on the day.
146 runners lined up at the start. First place in the men’s race went to Robert Bishop of Dronfield Running Club, in a time of 38:56. First place in the women’s race went to Hannah Walker, also of Dronfield Running Club, in a time of 40:12. 16 Striders took part. Results were published as separate men’s and women’s races.
