AFTER A MASS START FROM THORPE PASTURES, DOWN HILL. EVERYBODY TRIES TO GET INTO LIN DALE FIRST. BE CAREFUL, DON’T FALL! THEN IT IS OVER THE STEPPING STONES OR BETTER THROUGH THE RIVER DOVE. THE RIVER DOVE IS ONE OF THE COLDEST RIVERS IN THE UK!

and 50 seconds winning the Peveril of the Peak cup. Lucy Bednall from Buxton AC was second lady in 36:23 mins winning the Cyril Challinor Shield.
First male over 60 and winner of the Dorris Allen Salver is Des Gibbons from Red hill road runners in a time of 38 mins and 9 secs. First female over 60 is Glennis Richardson from Stockport harriers in 41 mins and 2 secs. First local Thorpe lady home and winner of the Matthew Parris Cup is Ellie Barber in a time of 46 mins and 31 secs. First Thorpe man home and winner of the Bluebell Cup is Oscar Robinson in a time of 56 mins and 47 seconds. Well done!
