Race Date: Saturday 1st October 2022
The annual Curbar Commotion primary school fundraiser fell race took place yesterday. An excellent 10 mile tour of Froggatt, White Edge, Birchen Edge with a few stings in the tail for those not in the know.
230 runners set of at 10am in lovely sunshine which continued throughout the race which made for pleasant running conditions. I’m not sure if I missed out on the party but there were a good few hungover Striders struggling up the hills yesterday. Nothing better than a 10 mile fell race to blow away the hangover blues!

The race was won by Euan Brown of DPFR on 1.05.16. The women’s race was won by Phillipa Williams also of DPFR in 1,07.03
