Race Date: Sunday 20th November 2022
The Clowne Half Marathon is an undulating race (roughly 700ft of total climb) which sets out south from the Derbyshire village of Clowne, home of the organisers, Clowne Road Runners RC. The route then turns east, taking in the neighbouring villages of Whaley, Elmton, Cresswell and Whitwell before returning to Clowne. The famed hoodies are a popular reward for race finishers.

777 runners lined up for the Clowne Half. Keith Swainson of Sheffield RC won the men’s race in a time of 1:15:41. The women’s race was won by Jenny Cartmell of Hillsborough & Rivelin RC in a time of 1:21:46. Twenty-four Striders took part.
