The Cambridge Half Marathon returned to it’s usual early-Spring time-slot after a delay event last autumn.

The course is usually PB material, winding through the city streets and universities before a trip into the countryside through Grantchester and Trumpington. It was surprising chilly start to the race, but organisers OBS had arranged eight different starting pens to ensure a good spread of the near 10,000 starters.

Winner was Nick Bester of Best Athletics, in a time of 01:06:19. Winner of the womens’ race was Lucy Reid of Tonbridge AC in 01:11:15.
