Jones O Gymru Anglesey 10K  – 6th March 2022

This is billed as one of the most scenic 10k s in the UK.  It is held at the same time as a Half Marathon and both races have the same start – on the Menai Suspension Bridge, where the road is closed for the occasion.  The undulating course follows the coastal road toward Beaumaris Castle and there are great views towards Snowdonia National Park and the Menai Straits.

 

One Strider ran.  The race was won by Chris Jones (MSen) of Hillsborough and Rivelin RC in 33:56, and by Katie Reynolds (FSen) of Eryri Harriers in 39:45.
