Run on paths entirely within Alton Towers Amusement Park, one of the main attractions of this race is the Free Access to all the rides after the race. It all looked a bit spooky with the fog though.
Two Striders ran the Half Marathon and 3 ran the 10k the previous day. The 10k was won by James EGleston (MSen – no club listed) in 32:39 and by Lucy Charles-Barclay (FSen, Orion Harriers) om 35:49. The half marathon race was won by Michael Roderick MSen from Tri Hard Harriers in 1:12:05, and by Tracey Thomas WV35, 9no club listed) in 1:26:43. For a list of full results see
