Race Date: Tuesday 21st December 2021
What better way to celebrate winter solistice than to spend just under an hour pelting round Sheffield streets looking 7 Hills (actually 6 William Hill’s and a BetFred) bookies before returning to race HQ for a pizza and a couple of beers (courtesy of Phil Howson – cheers Phil).
The highlight of the night (obviously) was beating said Phil Howson, especially as he turned up with his head torch declaring secret short cuts through darkened graveyards. The race distance was just under (or over) 7 miles depending on how many longer short cuts Phil took and it took just under an hour to complete. An excellent evening’s fun and more to be had at the North Stand event in January.
The race was won by Paul Fauset in 41.42. There were 18 runners in total.
