Race Date: Saturday 9th October 2021
The weather was good for the Short Tour Of Bradwell, a 7.8km race which starts and finishes in that village, nestled in the Peak District’s Hope Valley. The 2021 edition of this fell race boasted a new, tougher course with 390 metres (1280ft) of climbing and some great views. 99 runners set off from Bradwell’s Main Road at 11am, among them Steel City Strider Ian Stinson. Thirty six minutes and fifty nine seconds (0:36:59) later, Aaron McGrady was first across the finish line. Eleanor Johnston was the first female finisher, in 0:45:24.
