A classic Pennine fell race taking in all sorts of terrain from a touch of mud to hitting some of the hard stuff on Midgley Road. Suitable race for runners new to the sport as the course is flagged. A free can of ‘Heart & Soul’ beer to all runners.
171 runners in total including lone Strider Alasdair Menmuir. The men’s race was won by Doni Clarke of Todmorden Harriers in 48.00. The women’s race was won by Finty Royle of Lancaster University Athletics Club in 55.19.
