Race Date: Sunday 13th November 2021
This established multi-distance mixed terrain running festival starts and finishes on the grounds of the magnificent Kirkstall Abbey, a stunning medieval Cistercian Abbey, and is set on the banks of the River Aire. It is a low key event organised by It’s Grim Up North Running and offers 8.8 miles, half, full and ultra options.
One Strider, David Hewitt. took part in the half marathon version that had 98 entrants and was won by Bruce Fanshawe of Aldridge RC in 1.17.36. The women’s race was won by Alice Bourne (unattached) in 1.32.26.
