Grim Up North events offered 10k, half, 20 miler, marathon and ultra options in their recent Roche Abbey mid summer jumble event. 3 striders made the journey and used the event as a great training opportunity for the upcoming Yorkshire marathon. Well done to Dave Beech and Kate Scott on their impressive performances in the 20 miler. Dave Beech won the men’s race. Julie Wragg was first female in 3.19.34 with Strider Kate Scott in second.

There were 21 entrants in the half marathon version with Strider Dave Hewitt finishing eigth. The half was won by Allan Watts in 1.49.41.
