Race Date: Sunday 15th March 2020
South-east of Cambridge lies the market town of Haverhill, home to the ‘HaverHalf – the JMP Furniture Solutions Half Marathon’; part of the Haverhill Festival of Running, which this year also included a fun run, a 10k and a full marathon. Forty runners lined up for the half marathon, which starts at the town’s leisure centre, and loops north, through the neighbouring villages of Great Thurlow, Carlton Green & Withersfield.
The winner was Sam Scheibel in 1:31:20, followed by the first woman finisher, Nicki Davis, in 1:32:17. Strider Scott Liddle crossed the line in 1:45:23, 8th place overall and second in category. Well done to Scott!
