Race Date: Sunday 29th September 2019
Several distance options are offered at the Great Scottish Run from a Family Mile to a Half Marathon attracting an impressive elite field. Striders were represented in the 10K and half marathon distances.
The half marathon was won by Uganda’s Timothy Toroitich in 61:29, and Kenya’s Edith Chelimo was victorious in the women’s race in 67:38. First Strider home was Caitlin Robertson in 1:47:36.

The 10K race was won by Max Milarvie (Victoria Park AAC) in 30:50 and the women’s race was won by Gemma Steel (Charnford AC) in 35:29. Sole Strider was Rory Duncan in 51:04.
