Race Date 15th July
Another sunny Monday evening, another trunce, Rivers are low and the out and back track was akin to a dustbowl.
A mere 299 senior runners this time, lowest turn out this season, but plenty of striders.
Just for a change, Tom Saville of DP won in 24:34 whilst club mate Megan Wilson was first lady again in 27:04 – even faster than her first attempt last time. Paul Middlemas managed to stay just ahead of her despite taking a tumble in the woods.
Our own Charlie Narozanska was second lady home and extends her lead in the VF40 category for the season. In my own VM50 category, my one point lead for the season was lost so I am now equal first with all to play for!
