From the website: ‘This was a beautiful trail race around one of Wakefield’s most popular nature reserves. A 4 loop trail race which took you through some of the most stunning parts that the park has to offer. But don’t let the scenery fool you there are some tough uphill sections that may challenge some but not test you to your full limits as this is one for all abilities’.

Thoroughly enjoyed the race and will definitely do this one again. Results below. Chuffed to be first Strider home finishing in position 20 with a time of 57.18. A very well organised and friendly event.

First male was David Rutherford in 39.38, first female was Donna Eastham in 47.16.
