Race Date: Sunday 17th March 2019

St Paddy’s Purgatory, timed to coincide with St Patrick’s Day, is fast becoming a fixture in the local calendar. Organised by Mel Wilkinson’s RunForIt, the 10k follows the tried and tested out-and-back canal route from Meadowhall to Rotherham.

82 people joined in the celebrations this year, and first back to the shopping centre was Terry Forrest in a time of 31:23, closely followed by Strider Stephen Schubeler in a time of 34:27. Well done Stephen! First lady was Catherine Snowball in 45:33 and our very own Dawn Jackson took first Strider lady in a time of 57:45.
