This year’s short Tour of Bradwell was longer than previous years, and managed to squeeze 367m of climbing into its four-and-a-half miles, mostly in three steep ascents in the first half.
133 runners completed the adults/U18s version of the course, which was won by Harvey Martin of Ripley RC in 35:04. First woman home was Philippa Williams (Sheffield RC) in 37:16. An impressive 15 Striders turned out, fastest among them Caroline Brock (10th overall, in 38:59.
