Race Date: 15th May 2019
Not much to say about Shining Tor Fell Race, other than its a top fell race to add to the calendar – a bit of a trek out to Buxton, but the drive is rewarded by top views, a cracking route and a friendly race. This is my third outing, having missed it last year due to it sneakily selling out!
Max Wainwright of Dark Peak won the race, in 0:38:35, leading home the ladies was our very own top Strider Caroline Brock in 0:44:16 who is back on the fell scene – good to see she is back to usual winning form after her marathon training block!
