Race Date: Sunday 10th March 2019
The Retford half is a one lap course, generally flat with slight inclines on surfaced roads and footpaths.
The weather for this year’s event was said to ‘add’ to the experience. I suspect it was challenging at times.
The men’s race was won by Gareth Sampson of Rotherham Harriers in 01:11:15 and the women’s race was won by Striders own Sian Evans in 01:22:02. Brilliant run Sian and a new club record!
There were 1004 finishers of which 17 were striders.
