Well done to Lucy Ledger on her first race as a Strider. Here are her comments following the race:
My first race as a strider! The Port Sunlight 10k. Massive thanks to the Hillsborough SLIMS – especially Laura and Rosie, only 6 weeks with the club and I have already took 3 mins off my PB – also got my first sub 30 5k – 29.23 and nearly broke the hour on the 10k. 1.00.10 – 😣😣😣 so close! Huge improvements in only 6 weeks – thanks guys! Xx
The race was won by Jay Walker (parents had a sense of humour!) of Wallasey AC in 33.46. The womens race was won by Eleanor Jones of Liverpool, Pembroke and Sefton Harriers in 36.53
